Black & White Character Portraits
People. Pets. Personalities.
I create distinctive black-and-white digital portraits from your photographs, drawing out the little details, expressions and quirks that make a person — or an animal — unmistakably themselves.
You send me a photograph and I turn it into an original black-and-white illustration.
I'm not trying to reproduce every tiny detail. Instead, I look for the things that make the subject recognisable — an expression, a posture, a hairstyle, the shape of a face, a favourite feature or an unmistakable bit of attitude. The aim is for you to look at the finished picture and immediately think: “Yep. That's them.”
Your finished artwork is printed on quality matte paper, chosen to complement the crisp black linework without the glare of a glossy finish.
A5 artwork — £30
A4 artwork — £40
